My finished set design for SDSU's production of "The Grapes of Wrath." The concept was a depression era collage of textures and images to create an evocative environment for the production. The truck was a built piece, the fender wells and front grille were the only two elements that we ordered.

Sometimes, while browsing in unknown categories, we can find a rare hidden pearl. From the costumes to the details, the lighting to the grunge textures in the stage, The Grapes of Wrath 3 by ~Swolf330 is a wonderful example of this Gallery. It's fascinating how Theatre can transport us to another era and make us be "living" there, even if it is only for an hour or two. Awesome work! (Featured by ^NunoDias)

I photograph theathre plays, and one of my favourite things about those, besides actor's expressivity, is the set deco! I'd love to shoot one like this, wow!!1

Thank you, for this compliment. I think its important for theatre work to be exposed to the mainstream (as so often it falls by the wayside due to modern, high tech forms of entertainment.)

That is quite a massive stage production! Some of the best times in ever had were working audio in theater! I think there was more action behind the scenes than on the stage most of the time! Excellent piece and congratulations on the DD! :D
